Outer traffic development of the new state fair of Stuttgart, Germany (2004 - 2007)

The construction of the new state fair (Neue Landesmesse) in Stuttgart first necessitates extensive measures for the outer traffic development of the future fair grounds. This includes, apart from the connection with the Motorway A 8 Munich - Stuttgart, the redirection of the L 1192 state highway as well as access to the new car park and the inherent bridges and tunnels in open construction with building pit lining. The vicinity to the Motorway A 8 places high demands on the execution and necessitates a multitude of structural conditions and traffic control measures.
