Strategic consulting for Germany´s federal states (since 2006)

In terms of the planned adaptation of the existing legal basis for the organisation and financing of public transport, the definition of financing concepts, organisational structures (for example holding companies) and management accounting systems (for example: North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony, Federal Environmental Agency), for some of Germany´s federal states and institutions analyses and consulting services are conducted.

Municipal consulting (2006)

For numerous municipal local authorities which are responsible for rail- and road-bounded traffic, analytic, design and consulting services for the development of public transport - especially in the field of organisation and financing - have been conducted.

Public Private Partnership - Traffic forecasts for motorway upgrading models (since 2005)

Five upgrading measures are launched as Public Private Partnership (PPP). Construction, operation and maintenance are essentially refinanced by income from the truck toll. Pöyry Infra develops the traffic forecasts as a basis for the revenue assessment for the bidding group of Strabag, Bickhardt Bau, Max Bögl and Kirchner (KONFAM).

Public Private Partnership - Traffic study East Region, Austria (2005)

For the first time ASFINAG grants a concession for the financing, the planning as well as the construction and maintenance of a motorway section to a private company. The project in the Vienna region called "Ypsilon" comprises the southern part of the motorway A 5 (Northern Motorway) as well as the motorway sections S 1 (outer circular motorway of Vienna) and S 2 (Northern Motorway of Vienna) with an overall length of approx. 50 km
